Weiser Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Festival of Trees has become a special holiday tradition for Weiser the surrounding communities. The first Foundation Festival of Trees was held in 1987 and successfully displayed imaginatively decorated trees from businesses and individuals who excitedly join the holiday efforts in support of the hospital. The community took the event to its heart and backed it enthusiastically at all levels, from school children, to volunteers from the community, businesses and hospital. Before the last piece of tinsel was swept away, plans were underway to make it an annual event.
